Cleo Post, Owner & Director, E-RYT 500, B.A. Yoga
Cleo has been teaching yoga for 10 years and practicing yoga for 13 years, starting at an instructors house in the magical woods near Canaan, NY. The connection with the birds, the stream running outside, the breath, and the yoga poses expanded her awareness and consciousness. Her love for yoga blossomed and brought her to complete her 200hr yoga teacher training from Kripalu in 2011 and later to Naropa University (Boulder, CO) where she received her 1000hr yoga teacher training and B.A. in Yoga in December 2013. The yoga program at Naropa enabled her to dive deeply into the ancient yogic texts, the practice of asana, the study of Sanskrit, and yoga nidra. Cleo has studied under many amazing teachers, and has gained insight through experimenting with different yoga styles, which ultimately enabled her to find her own distinct teaching method and flow. Cleo opened Rainbow Body Yoga in 2014 and is thrilled to offer and share the joy, peace, happiness, love, calmness, and serenity that yoga brings to all that come to practice.
Deborah Adams, RYT 200
Deborah's journey of becoming a yoga teacher was inspired by her desire to deepen her own personal practice. After years of experiencing the transformative benefits of yoga, she completed her 200 hour training at Yoga Vida in NYC in 2014. Deborah continues to study all aspects of yoga through a broadened array of classes and workshops which inspire her teachings.
Yoga is the practice of connection, uniting mind body and breath. Through our practice, we learn to connect with ourselves. We become attuned to the inner workings of the body and most importantly, the mind. When we begin to explore ourselves through the practice of yoga, we build the foundation for a joyful, authentic and graceful life. Deborah aims to support her students in creating their foundation and facilitate an experience on their mats that is informative, approachable and empowering. She is eternally grateful for her teachers and students and is so happy to be teaching at Rainbow Body Yoga.
Chloe Higgins, RYT 200
Chloe has been practicing yoga since she was 15 years old. Her passion for & experience with the limitless healing powers of yoga led her to pursue her RYT-200 hr certification from Rainbow Body Yoga in Red Hook, NY. She believes yoga is the stilling of the changing tides of the mind, allowing us to come home to ourselves and feel true peace. Her goal as a teacher is to share the magic healing & connectedness of yoga with others. She believes if we all take the time to care for ourselves & raise our own vibration, we can collectively make the world a better place.
Jacqueline Carcaramo, RYT 200
Jackie received her 200hr teaching certification from Rainbow Body Yoga. As a registered dental hygienist educating her patients on oral health, to educating her yoga students on postures and yogic philosophy, she thrives from teaching others. Jackie enjoys yoga for it’s healing benefits for the mind, body and soul. She struggles with chronic work-related musculoskeletal pain and has used yoga as effective alternative medicine to protect her career longevity. She hopes to create a yoga class specific for work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the future. She shapes her yoga classes around detailed target areas of the body and uses proper alignment instructions throughout to ensure safe and powerful yoga postures. Ending with deep relaxation techniques and spiritual readings, you will leave Jackie’s class feeling open and revitalized.
Jacob Friedman, RYT 200
For Jacob, unconditional love is the goal, and yoga is the path. His classes provide a non-judgmental environment that is supportive and welcoming to all. He guides you safely through practices designed to cultivate introspection and physical development, to challenge and heal, and to inspire observation of and connection with every part of your self. By mindfully turning inward and working to uncover your own inner light, you will leave class feeling empowered and open to a deeper love and compassion everywhere in your life.
Jacob's classes are based in the Kripalu tradition: student-focused, accessible to every body, a balance of effort and ease, with bits of yogic philosophy and playfulness thrown in for good measure. Jacob is deeply inspired by his teachers at Kripalu, where he trained under Kari Harendorf and Yoganand Michael Carroll. He feels immense gratitude for the all teachers in his life: yoga teachers; school teachers; friends; perhaps wisest of all, his dog Maya; but most especially he is grateful for his parents, for their endless love and support. He remains an eternal student.
When not practicing yoga, Jacob may be found wandering in music, playing philosophy, stir-frying a forest or reading vegetables.

“Yoga Teacher Training at Rainbow Body Yoga was a life changing experience. I learned how to heal through Yoga & various energy healing modalities, how to put together a class, and how to effectively cue poses. This training fused together Yoga and all kinds of magic that allowed me to see the world from a different perspective. I made amazing friends and truly enjoyed spending every weekend spent in the teacher training. Additionally, Cleo helped me to figure out my "why" behind teaching, identifying my goals and seeing how they changed as training progressed. I graduated YTT feeling very certain on my path AND already had classes lined up to start teaching upon graduation! I will always be grateful for the magical way I was able to find & complete this yoga teacher training at Rainbow Body Yoga and the way it has impacted my life." - Chloe
