Sound Relaxation Restshop: A Restorative Yoga & Gong Bath Experience
with Tamara and Theo Cookingham
Give your body, emotions, and consciousness a chance to rest.
This un-work opportunity is designed to recalibrate the nervous system, allowing the whole self to settle into relaxation. Starting with a brief segment of slow and gentle movement, habitual body-mind overdrive will begin to coast into neutral. From there, guided options for prop supported restorative yoga positions will gradually lead to stillness in a resting pose of choice. Once everyone is tucked in and comfortable, soft waves of gong vibrations will wash over, around and through, lulling with their soothing sounds.
Tamara and Theo Cookingham were brought together by their shared love of yoga. Theo is a Kundalini Research Institute certified Kundalini teacher, trained by Harijiwan in that technology, as well as the gong. Tamara is a Yoga Alliance certified Prajna Yoga teacher through Tias and Surya Little. She has studied with Gong Master Don Conreaux, as well as a variety of advanced yoga teacher trainings including Restorative Yoga with Dr. Ann Saffi-Biasetti and Gopi Kinnicutt. As Theo and Tamara’s understanding of yoga has deepened, so has their love and understanding of themselves, and each other. All the rest flows from there. Full Moon Women's Circle
Full Moon Women's Circle is a sacred gathering for women to connect with the each other, explore the deeper landscape within, and re-align with the energies of the full moon and the cyclical patterns of nature. Each circle will be led by a different person, guiding the group through sharing, ceremony, songs, healings, yoga, meditations, and other magical offerings.
