Cleo Sofie, E-RYT 500, 1200hr YTT, B.A. Yoga
Cleo has been teaching yoga for over 10 years and practicing for over 12 years. She received her 1000hr yoga teacher training and her B.A. in Traditional Eastern Arts: Yoga from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Through studying yoga texts such as, The Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, or the Sri Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, Cleo dove into the ancient study of the yoga tradition at Naropa University. Her study included Yoga Asana, Pranayama, Anatomy, Sanksrit, Yoga Nidra, the Tantric Wisdom Goddesses, and more. Cleo also holds a 200hr yoga teacher training from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, which taught her to teach yoga in a compassionate way to all body types and that yoga is for every body. After returning from her study at Naropa University, Cleo opened Rainbow Body Yoga Studio in Tivoli, NY which has relocated to the beautiful town of Red Hook, NY. Cleo is also an herbalist and energy healer. Through her energetic healing work, Quantum Level Soul Healing (www.quantumlevelsoulhealing.com), Cleo brings people on a journey to reconnect with their full selves, becoming once again joined with their full light and purpose. As a yoga teacher, Cleo guides people through chakra meditations, and creative yoga flows to awaken each person's soul light. Cleo is a practicing herbalist having studied herbs and plant spirit healing for 10 years. She has completed Rosemary Gladstar's apprentice program and studied with Brigitte Mars and Michael Tierra.
Deborah Adams, RYT 200
Deborah's journey of becoming a yoga teacher was inspired by her desire to deepen her own personal practice. After years of experiencing the transformative benefits of yoga, she completed her 200 hour training at Yoga Vida in NYC in 2014. Deborah continues to study all aspects of yoga through a broadened array of classes and workshops which inspire her teachings.
Yoga is the practice of connection, uniting mind body and breath. Through our practice, we learn to connect with ourselves. We become attuned to the inner workings of the body and most importantly, the mind. When we begin to explore ourselves through the practice of yoga, we build the foundation for a joyful, authentic and graceful life. Deborah aims to support her students in creating their foundation and facilitate an experience on their mats that is informative, approachable and empowering. She is eternally grateful for her teachers and students and is so excited to be teaching at Rainbow Body Yoga.
Michele Anderson, Certified Usui Reiki Master, Teacher, and Practitioner
Michele began her study of Reiki in 2003, concluding with her Master Level Training in 2005. She is a professional member of the International Center for Reiki Training and owns her own practice, Inner Light Holistic where she offers Reiki sessions, workshops, and training for both adults and children.
A firm believer in blending the best of all practices, Michele enjoys integrating all of her skills in a way that best serves others and which helps facilitate transformation of the human spirit.
Caroline Wilder, RYT 200, Owner at Idunn Clothing
Caroline found yoga in a dark time and it carried her into the strongest version of herself she’s known, helping her to excel creatively and grow her business, while also finding the time and feeling safe in stillness and silence. She identifies with different schools of yoga and her unique style reflects that. She practiced ballet from a young age into her late teens and completed her 200 hour YTT training at Rainbow Body Yoga.
Caroline’s classes are a hybrid for both the physical body and emotional release; embracing the uniquely beautiful dark/light and yin/yang qualities in each of us. By incorporating various creative elements such as readings, music, experimental/playful movement, and offering deepening physical assists, she takes a curious approach in seeking different ways to communicate and explore the body in order to break through limiting belief systems and activate stagnant layers for an expansive and heart-opening release. She's found movement and yoga to be the most valuable tool for mental well-being, transformation, and ritual growth.
